We have a huge 20ft ladder in the studio that I have been itching to use. I would love to take it to a open field and take photos of it, but it's so large I can't put in on top of my car (I would surely get stopped by the police). So I took it just outside my studio and had my trusting intern Hanna climb up. It was a beautiful day - clouds were great and there was a slight breeze. Making it absolutely perfect for what I wanted to do. Got some great images for stock use.
This is a blog about Creativity and the images and words that inspire it.
Photography should be about mystery - just like a magic box. Where no one knows what it holds, but yet is inspired by the thought of what might be inside. Images that inspire keep us thinking, guessing what it might, or might not, be.
Photography can have that same hold on us. A simple image can inspire, influence and even arouse - a simple image taken from a window can create many emotions: loneliness, isolation, even freedom. That's what keeps us looking. Personally, I love to search for meaning in things. It sparks my imagination and creativity.
From that great ideas come.
